.What a cool city......
Our group increased by 11 after 2 days- but we managed to break into groups to explore and find some really cool shops. Got some really cool snaps.
Our first hostel experience- stayed at St Christopher's- srsly recommend it. Rooms small but clean and we met some pretty cool people. Really good position in Rosa-Luxemberg- would 100% recommend it after exploring other areas.

Definitely recommend Jewish museum/ Berlin Wall / hiring bikes and heading to the park. Fat tire bike hire is pretty central to Where we stayed. Otherwise there is a bike hire right outside the hostel next to Rosa-Luxemberg plats (train station)

The L U X E G U I D E gave us some good tips and tricks/ pockets to explore.
Recommend getting it!

Burger place:Burgmiester - must eat!

Most epic nightlife you can imagine. Nights start at 2am end at 10am. A lot of places are difficult to get into as they like over 21s (Berghein...watergate) but club Tresor in Kruesberg became a fav! Deep house, dungeon feel, with a pretty cool history behind it. Kreusberg in general has a lot of clubs around it.

So many Vietnamese restaurants around the area - all really delicious! The kebabs/falafel places around Mitte are really delicious and cheap!

D A Y T E N

Wandered around town for most of the morning -came across these cute markets in the main square.. had Brekky in our apartment

We took a trip up to the main tower in the middle of old town square. A really old rustic building, a bit game of thrones like actually! and when you arrive at the top you can overlook the whole of Prague and Its amazing architecture.
After this we stepped back out in the busy square only to be sprayed by waiters with hoses in street. Was very refreshing on the 35 degree day!

Today was the best afternoon of the trip yet!!! We walked to the Pague castle - about a 2.5 km walk uphill in the 35 degree heat- but so worth it!!! The view is honestly the most brilliant thing ever.. Not to mention the lush gardens surrounding the castle. We wandered around the castle + witnessed heroin addicts stealing money out of the wish fountain ..10 bottles of Rose at the most amazing restaurant- a table over looking the whole of Prague. We sat for ages and watched the sunset/Prague city turn their lights on.. Could not recommend something more!!

Prague not so great for shopping, or eating.. But has a really relaxed easy-going fun feel.. We were sad to miss out on seeing their river culture due to the flooding 2 weeks ago- but we reckon a river boat cruise would be fun or a paddle-boat adventure!

- our area had a lot of up-market designer stores (Prada + Louis + Hermes) but we managed to stumble across a few cool boho-type stores that had cool one-off pieces!

Would recommend spending your time in Prague up around the castle- + drinking a lot of wine!

Leaving for Berlin in the morning- a 3 hour train!

Day 1 Prague-
Appologies for the delayed post.... both of us have lost our phones since leaving Amsterdam.. awesome! And wifi has been hard to find

After hopping off what felt like the worlds quickest flight we arrived in prague late at night. As we had a few wines on the flight we were all keen to check out Prague's nightlife and vexcited to meet up with will! We went to a 5 story club which is in the top 5 clubs in Europe.

It had a different music genre for every level- played everything from house music to the Grease soundtrack.. Interesting crowd (a lot of tourists) but a lot of fun!
Currency change over (in Czech dollars) is so confusing- we realised you divide Czech $ by 17 to get AUD...

Harry arrived today! We all sat by the river and had a long lunch with bottles of rosé- food here is pretty gross- super stodgy .. Recommend just doing Italian (pizza / pasta ) although Harry braved and quite liked the Czech food...

At 4pm we did a Segway tour around Prague- highly recommend it!!! Didn't necessarily learn much in regards to Pragues history or anything vital about the city, but it helped us get our bearings and was a lot of fun (and funny given there were a few stacks)

Dinner at an Italian restaurant up the road from where we are staying before heading to a club called Roxy and then the 5-story club. Recommend Roxy on a busy night , deep house DJs, central location and nice venue.

We walked around the city at night and we felt surprisingly very safe (could have something to do with the boys) ... But people were really friendly!
